About the Event
On Wednesday 14th May, Police Credit Union held its Inaugural Golf Day at New Brighton Golf Club located in Moorebank. The aim of the day was to raise awareness for Police Post Trauma Support Group and PCU was proud to donate $2500 raised from the day.
The event on the day was a 4 ball ambrose with 26 teams participating with 4 players per team. At 7.30am there was a shotgun start with teams hitting off on every hole. The event was designed to provide a format for social and enjoyable golf for regular and non-regular players.
The event was sponsored by 16 businesses, which are associated with Police Credit Union.
The players on the winning team each received a $100 gift card for Coles Myer. Other prizes on the day were a signed polo shirt by Australia’s top golfers, a hat signed by Geoff Ogilvy, 6 double season passes to the Australian Circuit and some jackets and umbrellas. There was also prizes for nearest to the pin and a prize of the longest drive.
