Handy Hints for Travellers

Always carry valuables as hand luggage – when flying always take items such as laptops, photographic equipment and jewellery with you on the plane.

Never leave luggage unattended in a public place, including on the beach or in a motor vehicle overnight.

Leave a photocopy of your passport and tickets with someone at home. If you should lose your passport or tickets it will make replacing them easier if copies are available.

Keep receipts for your purchases separate from the goods, (for example with your passport or travel documents).

Keep copies of doctor, police and airline reports. You may need them in the event of a claim.
